With Utility Manager, you can:

  • Automate bill entry using PDF uploads, bulk imports, and email forwarding
  • Create custom fields to support complex meter setups and billing structures
  • Analyze cost, consumption, and demand trends by utility, building, or meter

Work Manager Updates: Board View and SLA Improvements

Since the release of Board View, many teams have started using it as a central place to plan daily work, assign tasks, and balance workloads across technicians. We’ve continued improving Board View along with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Priority Levels to give teams more flexibility and control over how work is managed and tracked.


 

What’s New

This update includes usability improvements to Board View along with more flexibility and control for Priority Levels and SLAs.

With these updates, you can:

  • Drag and drop work to assign and rebalance tasks across technicians
  • Customize what is displayed on the board by adding or removing user columns
  • Open and edit work details directly from the board without leaving the page
  • Return to the same Work List view when navigating between grid, board, and metrics views
  • Control who can see SLA metrics using user type permissions
  • Enable SLAs only for specific priority levels


 

Why It Matters

Board View helps teams quickly see who is working on what and adjust assignments as priorities change throughout the day. These updates make it easier to manage workloads, track service expectations, and keep work moving efficiently.

Inflation Projections in Capital Planner

We’re excited to introduce Inflation Projections in Capital Planner, a new feature that helps organizations plan more accurately for future equipment replacements and capital projects by accounting for inflation over time.

What’s New

Inflation Projections allows your organization to apply a global inflation rate to future equipment and project costs in Capital Planner.

With Inflation Projections, you can:

  • Set a global inflation multiplier to adjust future replacement and project costs automatically
  • See both today’s cost values and inflation-adjusted values across equipment, projects, dashboards, and budgets
  • Toggle Capital Planner dashboards and projections between today’s dollars and inflation-adjusted dollars
  • View inflation-adjusted replacement asset values (RAV) for equipment and inflation-adjusted project costs
  • Track inflation-adjusted upcoming budget amounts and available balances
  • Optionally enable automatic annual updates to RAV and project cost values based on inflation

Why It Matters

Planning capital replacements and projects years into the future using today’s costs can lead to inaccurate forecasts and unexpected budget gaps. Inflation Projections helps organizations build more realistic long-term plans by automatically adjusting future costs over time.

With more accurate projections, facilities and finance teams can better forecast funding needs, plan for major replacements, and make more informed decisions about asset and capital project planning. Inflation-adjusted values flow through Capital Planner dashboards, forecasts, and budgets, giving teams a clearer picture of future financial needs.

Public Calendar Field Privacy Updates in Event Manager

We’ve introduced new privacy controls for Public Calendars in Event Manager, giving organizations more control over what information is visible on public-facing calendars while keeping internal details private.

What’s New

Public Calendar updates now allow administrators to control which event information appears on embedded and public calendars.

With these updates, you can:

  • Choose which fields appear on public calendar event thumbnails
  • Control which fields appear in event pop-ups on public calendars
  • Hide sensitive or internal fields from public and anonymous viewers
  • Create public-facing calendars that show only essential event details like event name, date, time, and location
  • Maintain full event details for internal users while limiting what the public can see

Why It Matters

Many organizations publish FMX calendars on websites, TVs, and other public displays so communities can see upcoming events. Previously, public calendars could expose internal details or sensitive information, creating privacy and security concerns.

These new privacy controls allow organizations to safely share public calendars while keeping internal event details private. This makes it easier to provide clear, community-facing calendars without risking exposure of internal notes, personal information, or operational details.

Veracross Integration Upgrade (API v3)

We’ve upgraded the Veracross integration to API Version 3, providing more flexibility, improved configuration options, and better synchronization between Veracross and FMX Event Manager.

What’s New

The upgraded Veracross integration includes improved syncing and more configuration control for administrators.

With this upgrade, you can:

  • Sync both public and private events from Veracross into FMX
  • Map Veracross event types to FMX request types
  • Map Veracross resources to FMX buildings and resources
  • Choose which athletic events to sync, such as games, practices, or other event types
  • Sync historical events during setup if needed
  • Automatically sync updates, changes, and cancellations on an ongoing basis
  • Configure and manage the integration from the Integrations page in Admin Settings

Why It Matters

Many schools rely on Veracross for academic and athletic scheduling while using FMX for facility scheduling and operations. This upgrade creates a more complete and flexible integration between the two systems.

By syncing both public and private events and giving administrators more control over how events and resources are mapped, organizations can maintain a more accurate, centralized calendar in FMX, reduce manual entry, and avoid scheduling conflicts.

This helps ensure facilities teams, athletics, and administrators are all working from the same schedule and resource availability.
