The Work List Board View is a drag-and-drop interface for managing your team’s workload within the Work List module.Use Board View to run daily maintenance huddles, see what is unassigned, and rebalance work across technicians without living in spreadsheets.Before You StartTo use the Board View, your user type must have Work List access. Navigate to Admin Settings. Select User Types. Select Edit for the intended user type. Under Work List Access, enable Can access work list. If you do not have access to update user types, contact your FMX administrator.Open Board View Navigate to Work List. Select the Board button to switch from grid view to the drag-and-drop board. FMX remembers your last selected view, so when you return later you will land back in the same view.Choose Which Users Appear As ColumnsShow or Hide UnassignedThe Unassigned column can be hidden or shown so you can fit more assigned user columns on screen. Select Columns. Toggle Show Unassigned column on or off. Add or Remove User Columns Select Columns. Under Users, select the users that should appear as columns on the board. Tip: If you select more than 10 total columns (9 if the unassigned column is show), FMX will show a warning and hide additional users.Assign And Reassign WorkAssign From Unassigned Find the work item in the Unassigned column. Click and drag the card into the intended user’s column. Drop the card to assign it. Reassign Between Users Click and drag a card from one user’s column to another. Drop the card to reassign it. Reorder Work Within A User ColumnYou can also reprioritize the order of work within a single user column. Drag a card up or down within the same user’s column. Drop the card to save the new ordering. Open And Edit Card DetailsYou can open details without leaving the board. Select a card to open details in a slide out. In the slideout, select the option to open the work item full screen. Some actions open in a slide out.To open the assignment action, select either the assigned user icon or the priority level icon on the card. This is also where you can edit priority. Priority is only displayed if priority levels are enabled. Loading More CardsThe board may initially load a subset of work items per column.If not all items are loaded yet, use the load more behavior at the bottom of a column to fetch additional cards.
