How can I filter my calendar/grid view to exactly what I want to see?

Calendar and Grid Filters

On the FMX calendar and under the grid view, you can filter your requests to pinpoint exactly what you want to see. Read below to see the filter options that are available.

Calendar Filters

Accessibility - You can select if you want to only see all private requests or all public requests.

Assigned to – Filter by who is assigned to a request. If you select “Anyone” it will show you all requests that have been assigned; if you select “No One” it will show the requests that have not yet been assigned

Custom Field – Filter your calendar by the custom fields that have been filled out

Building – Filter the calendar by the building(s) you want to see requests for

Module – Filter the calendar by the module(s) you want to see requests for

Operating Hours (Schedule Requests Module Only) – Filter the calendar by the requests during operating hours or after operating hours

Ownership – Filter by whether a request is internal, outsourced, or your own

Request type – Filter the calendar by a certain request type

Resource – Filter the calendar by the location of the request

Status – Filter the calendar by the state of the request

  • Overdue: See tasks that are overdue
  • Open: See tasks that are open
  • Pending resource (Schedule Requests only): See tasks that are pending a resource
  • Pending my approval: See tasks that are pending your approval
  • Pending other’s approval: See tasks that are pending others approval
  • Pending estimate: See schedule requests that are pending estimates
  • Pending estimate acceptance: See schedule requests that are pending estimate acceptance from the requester
  • Pending Invoice: See schedule requests that are pending an invoice
  • Pending Payment: See schedule requests that are pending payment
  • Finalized and upcoming: See schedule requests that are finalized (approved) and upcoming
  • Finalized and completed: See schedule requests that are finalized (approved) and completed
  • Declined: See any request that has been declined
  • Canceled: See schedule requests that have been canceled
  • Pending Confirmation: See requests that are pending vendor confirmation or user confirmation
  • Completed: See any request that has been completed

 

Grid Filters

Date Filters – Select the date range you want to see requests for and then click the filter button to the right for the filter to apply to the grid

Removing Filters

If you're having trouble locating certain requests, events, or other information on your FMX calendar or in your FMX grids it could be because you have a filter selected that is hiding the information you're looking for. 

To quickly remove all of the filters that are currently selected, click on the "x" attached to the filter button. 

To view the filters that are currently selected and remove them one at a time, click on the filter button and hover over the filter options that are bold (this indicates you have filters selected within that list). Then uncheck the individual filters you wish to remove.
