Jamf School Integration Is Now Available

Many schools already use Jamf School to manage Apple devices across classrooms and campuses. With this new integration, FMX now supports Jamf School alongside Jamf Pro, making it easier to connect the device data you already manage into FMX.

What’s New

The Jamf School integration allows you to bring Apple device data into FMX and keep it in sync over time.

Here’s what you can do:

  • Sync Apple devices into FMX as equipment using Jamf School smart device groups
  • Keep device data up to date automatically as ownership, locations, or assignments change
  • Map Jamf School locations and groups to FMX buildings and equipment types

The setup process follows the same workflow as the Jamf Pro integration, so teams familiar with Jamf will find it easy to configure.

Why It Matters

When device data lives in multiple systems, keeping records accurate can take extra time and manual effort. This integration helps reduce that friction by connecting FMX directly to Jamf School, helping teams avoid duplicate records and maintain a more reliable source of equipment data.

Fastenal Integration Is Now Available

Managing parts often means juggling inventory levels, purchase requests, and cost tracking across multiple systems. With the new Fastenal integration, FMX now connects directly with Fastenal to bring parts visibility and ordering into the same place you manage work.

What’s New

The Fastenal integration connects FMX with your Fastenal inventory and ordering system.

Here’s what you can do:

  • View parts from your local Fastenal location directly in FMX, including current pricing and quantities

  • Request parts while working on requests in FMX, using a searchable Fastenal catalog

  • Track request status and fulfillment updates without leaving FMX

  • Capture accurate parts costs automatically for clearer work and budget reporting

Inventory from Fastenal Onsite locations, vending machines, and stocking locations is kept up to date so teams can see what is available and where.

Why It Matters

Parts management plays a critical role in keeping work moving. This integration helps reduce manual entry, improve inventory visibility, and ensure parts costs are accurately reflected in FMX. By connecting facilities, maintenance, and procurement workflows, teams can better plan work, control spending, and avoid delays caused by missing or hard-to-find parts.
