We’re very excited to share our featured update with you this month: Start and Stop Labor Tracking. This is a feature that we've been waiting a long time to share this with all of you! If your organization tracks labor, we highly encourage you to check it out.
After reading this article, make sure to check out our new Product Roadmap portion in these articles for a sneak peek of what’s coming soon to FMX. And as always, we welcome your feedback and questions - please email us at email@example.com.
Start and stop labor tracking on a Work Request (Maintenance Requests, Technology Requests, Custom modules) or Planned Maintenance Occurrence
Our new Start and Stop Labor Tracking feature allows organizations to more accurately track the time of their laborers. More accurate time can be useful for a variety of reasons but the most commons one we see are for:
- Organizations with a lot of staff, especially if some are seasonal
- Organizations that bill their time
- Organizations that frequently outsource their work
If one of these points describes you, please contact your FMX Account Manager for a demo of this feature.
Export an Excel report for Planned Maintenance Occurrences
You can now export an Excel report on Planned Maintenance Tasks and Occurrences:
Receive a notification that is sent when a request is created with conflicts
You can now subscribe to a notification for when a request is created with conflicts:
FMX’s Product Roadmap
Here are some features to look for in the next few months.
Bulk canceling of schedule request occurrences
We know that a lot of you are impacted by COVID-19. We’re hard at work on this feature to help you more seamlessly close your facilities.
Bulk assignment, reassignment, and deletions for work requests
These actions will join our bulk approval and bulk resolution actions for work requests.
Text to work order creation
Organizations with this feature will be able to allow users to submit work orders to FMX via text message.
Email notifications to users submitting via kiosk mode/embedded work request form
Users will soon be able to request that they receive notifications for requests that they submit either through a kiosk or via form that you’ve embedded on your website or intranet.
HTML email notifications
Soon our email notifications will receive a bit of a facelift. If your email client allows for HTML emails, your email notifications will soon include your organization logo and be presented in a graphical interface.
Schedule Request update API endpoint
We recently added functionality to create and delete schedule requests via the FMX API. We will soon add the ability to update them as well.
