How it Works
Create an auto generated work request (maintenance, technology or custom) from a check box custom field on a schedule request. After a schedule request is submitted and has been fully approved a work request will be created if the check box has been filled out. If there is not an approval then the request the auto-generated request will be created after the schedule request is submitted.
The auto generated request will feature the following:
- The module and request type are set up in the custom field's setting (more on this in the setup section)
- The name of the request will be “Auto generated request from (Schedule Request ID) - (Name of Schedule request)”
- The building and location of the request will be the same as the schedule request
- The due date will be the date of the schedule request
- The work request and schedule request will be associated together with a link to the schedule requests and a link to the work request on the schedule request
*The auto generated request can be edited to make changes or add in more information.
**It is also important to note that an auto-generated request will not populate if more than one Building and/or Location is selected within the Schedule Request.
