How it Works

Enforced approval order hierarchy requires that schedule request approvals have to be approved by someone in the order of each tier. When this setting is turned on users who are part of a later tier can no longer approve before the previous tier. 

In the example below someone with the user type "Event Coordinator" has to approve first, a "Schedule Admin" second and an "FMX Administrator" third. A "Schedule Admin" or "FMX Administrator" would not be able skip the previous tiers. 

**There is an option to give users the ability override any approvals regardless of enforce hierarchy or approval order. See this article for details.**

How to Set it up

To turn on this setting follow the below steps:

  1.  Go to Admin Settings
  2. In the "General" section go to "Schedule Request Settings"
  3. Then check the box to “Enforce approval order hierarchy”.
  4. Lastly click the save button at the bottom. 

This will apply to all schedule request approvals on your FMX site.
