You can utilize the 'Filter' feature to view records that have been deleted from your FMX site. This can be done for most records recorded within FMX including, Requests, Users, Buildings, Request Types, etc. Please see below for examples of how to view deleted records! 

  • You will also have the option to 'Undelete' or 'Reinstate' records that have been deleted within FMX. 

Requests

For any of the request modules (Schedule, Technology, Maintenance, etc.) select the 'Filter' button next to the search bar. Here, you can set 'Deleted' under 'Status' and only deleted requests will appear within the module. 

For some modules, such as 'Planned Maintenance' the 'Deleted' filter option may be a button to select instead of a drop down menu: 

You will have the ability to 'Undelete' Requests in FMX. To do this simply click the trash can icon on the deleted Request, and then click 'Undelete' and it will be brought back! 

Buildings 

For buildings select the 'Filter' button next to the search bar. Here, you can set 'Deleted' under 'Status' and only deleted requests will appear within the module. 

You will have the ability to 'Undelete' Buildings in FMX. To do this simply click the trash can icon on the deleted Building, and then click 'Undelete' and it will be brought back! 

  • This will bring back any Requests, Equipment, or Inventory that were stored within the Building prior to being deleted! 

Users & Contacts

For Users & Contacts select the 'Filter' button next to the search bar. Here, you can set 'Deleted' under 'Status' and only deleted requests will appear within the module. 

You will have the ability to 'Reinstate' Users or Contacts that have been deleted from FMX. To do this simply select the 3 dots to the right of that User or Contact and click 'Reinstate', then scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Reinstate' again! 

Equipment

For Equipment select the 'Filter' button next to the search bar. Here, you can set 'Deleted' under 'Status' and only deleted Equipment will appear within the module. 

You will have the ability to 'Undelete' Equipment in FMX. To do this simply click the trash can icon on the deleted Equipment, and then click 'Undelete' and it will be brought back! 

Inventory

For Inventory select the 'Filter' button next to the search bar. Here, you can set 'Deleted' under 'Status' and only deleted Inventory will appear within the module. 

You will have the ability to 'Undelete' Inventory in FMX. To do this simply click the trash can icon on the deleted Inventory, and then click 'Undelete' and it will be brought back! 

Resources & Locations

For Resources & Locations select the 'Filter' button next to the search bar. Here, you can set 'Deleted' under 'Status' and only deleted Resources & Locations will appear within the module. 

You will have the ability to 'Undelete' Resources & Locations in FMX. To do this simply click the trash can icon on the deleted Resources & Locations, and then click 'Undelete' and it will be brought back! 

Request Types

For 'Request Types' navigate to the 'Admin Settings' and select the 'Filter' button next to the search bar. Here, you can set 'Deleted' under 'Status' and only deleted request types will appear within the module. 

You will have the ability to 'Reinstate' request types that have been deleted from FMX. To do this simply select the 3 dots to the right of that request type and click 'Reinstate', then scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Reinstate' again! 

Custom Fields

For 'Custom Fields' navigate to the 'Admin Settings' and select the 'Form Builder' button next to the search bar. Here, to simplify your view, you can choose a filter for a specific Module and Stage (ex. Schedule Request: Approval, Maintenance Request: Resolution) to view the custom fields listed in certain areas of your forms. 

 

With a Module/Stage selected, you can locate any deleted custom fields for the section within the Inactive Fields tab.

 

 

Use the Reinstate button to return the fields back to their original location on the form, and click Save form after to ensure that the field is moved from the Inactive Fields tab back to the active list under Custom Fields.

 

Please note: Some records such as Custom Nav Links and Instruction Sets cannot be undeleted within the User Interface. If there is a necessity to undelete these please reach out to support@gofmx.com
