Tasks versus Occurrences: The task is the underlying repeating event such as "replace air filters" while an occurrence pertains to a specific date or iteration such as "replace air filters on x date."
Follow the steps below to edit planned maintenance tasks and occurrences in FMX:
Editing Occurrences:
1. From the calendar page, click on the desired request and select Edit
2. Edit the desired information under the Task header on the Planned Maintenance Task. This will alter all of the titles and repetition of the task independent of the specific occurrence selected.
3. Under This Occurrence you may edit details specific to the selected occurrence such as time, equipment, instruction sets, and assigned users.
4. Click Save and select the scope of your changes. You may choose to update only the occurrence selected, future occurrences, or all occurrences in the past and in the future.
Editing Tasks:
1. From the Planned Maintenance tab select the desired Planned Maintenance Task then select Edit.
