FMX allows organizations to create and customize inventory types as a way for them to categorize their assets for reporting and tracking.

Adding Inventory Types

1. Click on Admin Settings in left sidebar, then click on the Inventory Types tab towards the top of your screen.

2. Click on the Add Inventory type button in the top right hand corner.

3. Name this inventory type, and indicate all request modules that the inventory type can be used for. 

4. Indicate the user types that are permitted to request this inventory type when creating and editing work orders.

4. Click Save to add the new inventory type.

Deleting Inventory Types

1. Click on Admin Settings in left sidebar, then click on the Inventory Types tab towards the top of your screen.

2. Click the 3 vertical dots menu to the right of the row that the inventory type is listed, and choose Delete from the dropdown menu.

3. Click Delete to confirm.
