What do the icons mean on my FMX site?

There are many icons throughout the FMX site. Here is a description of any icon you may come across on your FMX site. Some icons are only accessible if you have been granted certain permissions within FMX. 

Left Side Bar Icons

Calendar: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Calendar." By clicking here you will be taken to the calendar page. 

 Schedule Request Icon: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Schedule Requests" or on the calendar with a schedule request event. 

Maintenance Request Icon: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Maintenance Requests" or on the calendar with a maintenance request. 

 Technology Request Icon: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Technology Requests" or on the calendar with a technology request.

 Custom Work Requests: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Custom Work Requests" or on the calendar with a custom work request. 

 Planned Maintenance: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Planned Maintenance" or on the calendar with a planned maintenance tasks. 

 Transportation Request Icon: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Transportation Requests" or on the calendar with a transportation request. 

Users: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Users." By clicking here, you will be taken to a list of users in the FMX system. 

 Reports: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Reports." Clicking here will take you to a list of all of the reports in the FMX system. 

 Equipment: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Equipment."  By clicking this icon, you will be taken to the equipment grid where you can see all of your equipment or create a new piece of equipment. 

Inventory: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Inventory." By clicking this icon, you will be taken to the inventory grid where you can see your inventory or add new inventory.

Resources: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Resources." By clicking this icon, you will be taken to the resource (location) grid where you can see your resources or add new resources. 

Buildings: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Buildings." By clicking this icon, you will be taken to building grid where you can see your buildings or add new buildings. 

Organization: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Organization." By clicking this icon, you will be able to see areas where you can change approval processes, user types, equipment types, request types, and custom fields. 

Help & Updates: This icon can be seen in the left side bar next to "Help & Updates." By clicking this icon, you will be redirected to help.gofmx.com where you can access learning center videos and articles. 

 

Action Icons Across FMX

These icons can be seen across many modules of FMX. 

 Delete: This icon allows you to delete within the FMX site. By clicking this, you will be taken to a page to confirm that you want to delete the item/request you have selected.

 Logs: This icon is to see logs on equipment, inventory, resources, and Planned Maintenance tasks. By clicking this, you will be taken to any information that has been logged about the particular item or task. 

 Details: This icon allows you to open a page within the FMX site and edit the details. 
 

Schedule Request Icons

Approve/Accept: This thumbs up icon allows you to approve a request. By clicking this, you will be taken to a page to approve the request. This icon is also used to accept an estimate for a schedule request. 

 Decline: This thumbs down icon allows you to decline a request. By clicking this, you will be taken to a page to give a reason for declining the request. This icon is also used to decline an estimate for a schedule request.

Pending Resource: This icon allows you to choose a specific resource (location) for a schedule request. By clicking this, you will select the resource for the event. 

Estimate/Invoice: This icon is for applying an estimate/invoice to a schedule request. By clicking this, you will be taken to a page to put in the estimate or invoice and a description to go with it. 

Payment: This icon is for payments for schedule requests. By clicking this, you can enter the payment amount for the event. The remaining balance will keep reducing until the whole payment has been applied. 

 Resend: This icons allows you to resend an invoice to a user. By clicking here, you can send an email to the user for the invoice. 

 Respond: This icon allows you to respond to a request. By clicking this button, you can enter your response to the request. 

 Copy Request: This icons allows you to copy a request that is already in the system and it will reopen on a new request page with fields pre-filled for you. 

 

Maintenance/Technology/Custom Work Request Icons

 Resolve: This icon allows you to resolve a work request. By clicking this icon, you can enter the hours, cost, resolution, equipment, inventory used, and any attachments that were required for the work request. 

 Respond: This icon allows you to respond to a request. By clicking this button, you can enter your response to the request. 

 Assign: This icon will allow you to assign someone to a work request. By clicking this, you will be taken to a page to pick a user and assign the request. 

 

Planned Maintenance Icons

 Execute: This icon allows you to execute a planned maintenance task. By clicking this icon, you can enter the hours, cost, resolution, equipment, inventory used, and any attachments that were required for the work request. 

 Respond: This icon allows you to respond to a request. By clicking this button, you can enter your response to the request. 

 

 

Transportation Requests

 Assign Vehicle: This icons allows you to assign a vehicle to a transportation request. By clicking the icon, you can select which vehicle you want for this request. 

 Assign: This icon will allow you to assign a driver to a transportation request. By clicking this, you will be taken to a page to pick a user and assign the request. 

 Respond: This icon allows you to respond to a request. By clicking this button, you can enter your response to the request. 

 Finalize: This icon allows you to finalize a transportation request. By clicking this button, you can enter information such as you can enter beginning time, return time, beginning mileage, return mileage and capture any additional fields

Users

 Resend: This icons allows you to resend a confirmation email to a user. By clicking here, you can resend an email to the user to confirm their account.

Administer: This icon allows you to serve as an administrator and change a users settings within the FMX site. 

 

Reports

 Reports: This icon allows you to open a report page. By clicking this, you will be redirected to a page with your reports. 

 Download: This icon allows you to download a document, such as a Report, into a PDF. 

 

Equipment 

 Planned Maintenance: This icon allows you to see the planned maintenance associated with this piece of equipment. 

 Trips: This icons allows you to see all of the trips associate with this piece of equipment if it is a vehicle. 

 

Inventory

  Change Quantity Amount: This icons allows you to change your inventory quantity. By clicking this icon, a box will pop up and you can add or subtract your inventory. 

 

Buildings

 Equipment: This icon indicates equipment. By clicking this icon in the "Buildings" module, you can see all the equipment associated with a given building. 

 Reports: This icon allows you to open a report page. By clicking this, you will be redirected to open your planned maintenance reports.
