The Respond feature is helpful for keeping all communications associated to a request in one place. It's also useful for logging worker time. If you have multiple people working on a request over several days, using Respond rather than Resolve will keep the request open, while still tracking labor.
1. Find the request you wish to respond to (either on the calendar or in the module grid view, accessed via the left sidebar.) Click on the request to open it, and then select the Respond icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Enter a response. If you would like to tag another user in your response, type the "@" symbol and then select their name from the list that pops up. Tagged users will automatically be added as followers to the request after you save your response. You can also choose to add an attachment to your response if you'd like.
3. If necessary, add any cost, worker time, or inventory used to this response. You can also select the "Make private" check box if you want this response to only be seen by certain user types. Click Respond at the bottom to confirm.
