FMXConnect allows customers to integrate their Building Automation System (BAS) to FMX for scheduling and alarms. This can allow them to automate their HVAC and lighting to match building occupancy and/or trigger a work order to be generated when an alarm reaches a pre-determined threshold for an issue.

Overview of Features:

  1. Automatically Adjust HVAC Systems Based on Schedules
    1. Example: If there is a girl scout meeting scheduled for 5:30pm on Wednesday, the AC can be set to turn on one hour before the start of the event to ensure a comfortable occupancy temperature
  2. Automatically Create Work Orders Based on Alarms
    1. This will include all the details you need in order to address the issue
    2. Example: A freezer with thousands of dollars in frozen food begins to reach a temperature of 55 degrees, the alarm in the fridge can detect it, generate a work order and get that situation resolved before they lose all the food in the freeze
  3. Automatically Control Lighting
    1. Example: Based on the Athletics schedule, the district can make sure the lights come on for the Girls Varsity Basketball game in the Main Gymnasium
