Pre-fill URL Parameters allow users to pre-fill a work request or work task with specified details. Users can utilize Pre-fill URLs to provide direct links to creating work requests for specific Buildings, Resources, and Equipment. Additionally, users can create a Pre-fill URL to Start Downtime for equipment or provide a link to Kiosk Mode.

Kiosk Mode allows users to submit requests without having to log in to FMX. Further information regarding Kiosk Mode can be found here.

To create a Pre-fill URL, add "?" followed by the field to the end of your site's URL. Add "&" between fields if using multiple. An example of a Pre-fill URL for the Maintenance Request module would appear as follows:

      hostname.gofmx.com/maintenance-requests/new?buildingID=207371&resourceID=684115&equipmentID=1451643

Parameter IDs
Users can access their site's Building, Resource, and Equipment Parameter IDs from exported data files in the corresponding modules.

On the Grid View page of the module, select Export from the top right corner. In the Export drop down, select CSV or Excel under the Raw Data portion. Please access the exported file in your browser's downloaded files.
