Changing Date Format to dd/mm/yy

Follow these directions to change your date format in Chrome to dd/mm/yy:

1. Open a new Chrome browser. At the top right hand of the page, click the 3 vertical dots. Once you see the drop-down box, select "settings".

2.  Once in Settings, scroll to the bottom and select "Advanced" to find other options.

3. After selecting "Advanced" scroll down to locate the "Language" section. Click the down arrow to the right of "Language (English, United States)".

4. Your preferences will appear below Language as a list. Select the "Add language" button to select a different Language.

5. A search engine will appear where you can then search for "English". Select the last option "English (United Kingdom)" and click "ADD" at the bottom.

6. "English (United Kingdom)" will now appear as an option on the preference list. Select the 3 vertical dots to the right of "English (United Kingdom)". Another box will appear where you can select "Display Google Chrome in this Language".

7. The date will now appear in the dd/mm/yy format within your FMX site!

Follow these directions to change your date format in Mozilla Firefox to dd/mm/yy:

1. Open a new Firefox browser. At the top right hand of the page, click the 3 vertical lines. Once you see the drop-down box, select "Options".

2.  Once in the "Options" setting, scroll down to locate the Language preferences and click the "Choose" button on the right.

3. A search engine will appear where you can then search for "English". Select the last option "English /United Kingdom [en-gb]" and click "OK" at the bottom.

4."English /United Kingdom [en-gb]" will now appear in your Languages preferences at the top. Select it and click "OK" at the bottom.

5. The date will now appear in the dd/mm/yy format within your FMX site!

Follow these directions to change your date format in Internet Explorer to dd/mm/yy:

 

1. Open a new Internet Explorer browser. At the top right hand of the page, click the gear icon left of the smiley face.  Once you see the drop-down box, select "Internet options".

2. Once in the "Internet options" setting, scroll down to locate the Appearance section and click "Language".

3. A language preference box will then pop up. Click "Set Language Preferences".

4. To add a new language, select "Add a language".

5. A search engine will appear where you can then search for "English". Double click the "English" box.

6.  Once in the English section, select the "English (United Kingdom)" box.

7.  "English (United Kingdom)"  will now appear as a Language option. Select it and click the "Move up" button to make it the Default language.

8. The date will now appear in the dd/mm/yy format within your FMX site!
